Horizon Publishing Group does not differ much from other publishers. We receive an important number of manuscripts every week, which are ALL considered first and, without exception, for traditional publishing under our selection criteria. However, this is a competitive selection, which means only those manuscripts that are very well written, researched, of high calibre, edited and highly marketable are selected.

Nevertheless, HPG percentage of accepting manuscripts under the traditional publishing criteria is much higher than other publishers; hence you are welcome to send us your manuscript for consideration if it is original, outstanding and of high quality work. We know that there exist some works that deserve to be published, but were rejected by other publishers for a reason or the other as it happened to J.F. Rowling's Harry Potter, which was rejected eight times before it was picked up by a publisher and became the best seller of all times.

When a manuscript is selected for traditional publishing, HPG will undertake all the work from satisfying the legal requirements to re-editing (the work must be already very well edited), proofreading, typesetting, front and back cover design, printing, marketing and distribution.

As we always respect the work of an author, HPG will take reasonable steps to involve the author in the publishing of her/his book. However, you have to understand that while writing a book is a daunting task, however, publishing and marketing a book is even a completely different ballgame altogether. Therefore, authors are required to cooperate with us at all stages of the publishing and marketing process.

Please note that we are not making promises to publish your work under traditional publishing as, while some works will be chosen, however, others will not. Nevertheless, as we know how an author spends time and efforts to write a book and we know the art of publishing, we therefore give the author the opportunity to publish the work under two other options if so desires.
